We are a family centered church which continually emphasizes the strengthening of the family. We believe that the family unit is being attacked from all sides in our society today and that fathers, mothers and children should be taught what God’s plan and purpose is for each one. They not only need to have good role models but need help in the various stages of life. We also have ministries to the singles and try not to neglect those who are alone. Everyone needs someone to come alongside them and encourage them when they are going through times of trials and difficulties. We attempt, through the different ministries of the church, to promote the attitude that we are “our brother’s keeper” and that others do really care because Jesus cares.

Our church also has a strong mission emphasis and support mission efforts in many different areas of the world as well as in our own country. Our Sunday night services usually have a variety of music and musical instruments as well as a mission presentation from different areas of the country or world. We encourage people to use their God-given talents and abilities to serve Him and to bring Him honor and glory.

Recognizing that musical tastes are an area of “disharmony” in most churches today, our attempt has been to combine worship hymns and praise songs in the Sunday morning worship.

The church’s gym is continually being used by us as well as many others to promote Christian fellowship and sportsmanship. We pray that it would continue to be a means of outreach for our congregation.

The bible says that the church should be a “house of prayer”. We come to church to worship, to pray, and to listen to what God’s Word says to us. Only then are we empowered to do something worthwhile as far as eternity is concerned. We have a duty to serve and a duty to pray. May we not neglect either duty in being faithful to Christ.

Having been called (1 Peter 2:9-10, Eph 2:8-9)
It has been by God’s choice and not ours that we have been called to proclaim the “good news” of His mercy and grace.

Equipped for service (Ephesians 2:10)
In Christ Jesus and by the power of His Holy Spirit, we are enabled to serve Him by serving our fellow man, bearing one another’s burdens. We as believers should not be thinking so much about what we are getting our of church, but rather, what we can give by allowing The Lord to use the gifts He has given us in serving others.

To reach the unsaved (1 Tim 2:1-4)
If God’s desire is that all would be saved and come to the knowledge of the Truth, who else is going to tell them but those who know Him?

This threefold mission statement emphasizes the main purpose for which the church on earth exists. It is our hope and prayer that The Lord would use us in cooperation with the rest of His Body of believers to do our part in the furtherance of His kingdom, to His honor and Glory.
